How a score is made

The scoring engine is deterministic and expert-designed. A pack starts from its material, loses points for each design decision that defeats sorting, and is then multiplied by the recovery infrastructure of the market where it is sold. The same inputs always produce the same score, so every result can be reproduced and audited.

AI is applied after the score, to analysis and reporting, never to the number itself.

Every figure in the ledger is produced by the same code that scores client SKUs.

Six measures, at SKU level

Localised recovery intelligence, expert assessment and AI-powered analysis, applied to every SKU in a portfolio.

Recyclability
Whether the material can be recycled at all, before context.
Recoverability
Whether it is actually recovered by the systems where it is sold.
Recycled content
How much post-consumer material the pack already carries.
Material risk
Exposure created by the material and design choices themselves.
Circularity potential
Mono-material construction, refill, renewable content, certification.
EPR readiness
Preparedness for Extended Producer Responsibility obligations.
Who we are
Africa's Packaging & Recovery Intelligence Infrastructure.
What we do
We transform packaging and recovery data into decision intelligence.
How we're different
Our intelligence is grounded in African recovery systems and regulatory realities, not assumptions from mature markets.
Why we exist
To power the transition to a transparent, circular packaging economy across Africa.

Every engagement ends in decisions, not a score

Assessments turn fragmented packaging data into intelligence that engineering, compliance, procurement, investment and executive leadership can each act on.

Risk assessments
SKU-level scoring across all six measures, with the drivers behind every score made explicit.
Executive dashboards
Portfolio exposure at a glance, for the people who have to answer for it.
Engineering recommendations
Specific material and design changes, not general advice.
Compliance insights
Where a portfolio stands against EPR obligations and what that implies.
Improvement roadmaps
Prioritised 30, 60 and 90 day plans that sequence the work.
